“ If you’re in Yellowknife on a Wednesday, don’t miss Wing Night—it’s the ultimate spot to indulge in amazing wings and more! Here’s my experience: We arrived early at 4:30 PM (Wing Night officially starts at 5:00 PM), and our server was incredibly accommodating. They took our orders at 4:45 PM so we could dive in as soon as the festivities began. Pro tip: Arrive early—the place fills up fast! We tried a variety of wings, but the dry rub options stole the show, especially the lemon pepper rub—an absolute standout! Their burgers also deserve a special mention, particularly the BBQ Guinness Burger, which was nothing short of phenomenal. Whether you’re out for wings, drinks, and a good time with friends, or prefer a cozy night at home with pick-up or delivery, this place has you covered. Highly recommend it for wing lovers and foodies alike! #YellowknifeEats #WingNightDoneRight ”
“ Best bar in Yellowknife! Love their bison burger and they have a decent selection on tap. ”
“ Classic Pub Experience with Great Food & Local Brews. Fish and Chips are excellent. I was there with two female work colleagues aftr a long day at the NWTAC conference of local communities in NWT. I had the Haddock Fish and Chips, which was the special of the day, and it was excellent—crispy, golden batter with perfectly cooked, flaky fish inside. To complement my meal, I enjoyed two rounds of NWT Brewing Company Cream Ale, a smooth and refreshing beer that paired perfectly with the dish. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd want from an Irish-style pub—warm, inviting, and full of character. It's a great spot to relax, grab a drink, and enjoy hearty, well-made pub food. The service was friendly and efficient, making for a great experience. Another bonus is the location—centrally located and close to several hotels, making it an easy and convenient choice for both visitors and locals. If you're in Yellowknife and looking for delicious pub fare, great beer, and a welcoming atmosphere, The Black Knight Pub is a must-visit! I definitely recommend trying it more than once. ”
“ Awesome place! Got 4 for drinks from JP the bartender as a welcome gift lol. Great night, highly recommended! ”
“ We didn't experience any of the issues some reviewers seem to have trouble with. The service was just fine, our waitress was very nice. The food came out quickly and it was delicious. We had the Deep Fried White Fish, which is the special on Fridays. It was nice and flaky and while the Haddock is cheaper and a larger portion, the White Fish is locally sourced and the Haddock is not. We also had The Works Poutine, which was super tasty. I would eat here again without a second thought. However, if the owner happens to read this.. a "Please Seat Yourself" sign might be needed, as we did stand at the front like knobs for a couple minutes waiting to be seated, since we didn't know. ”
“ This was my second time there. It is a good place to have a few beers and eat. Easy to find transportation back to your hotel. ”
“ Pints are 10, but you're WAY up north so... Nonetheless, great Irish Pub with dark wood, fancy clean bathrooms and they throw an amazing St. Patrick's Day party. ”
“ Donair and club were delicious. Loved the atmosphere and decor. We will be back! ”
